How do you attach the continuous clip to your PAWLII collar base?

The clip has a row of four or five snap fasteners on the back. Align the fasteners with the prepared eyelets on your collar base, press firmly one after the other, and the clip will sit securely without slipping.

Does a single clip fit all collar sizes?

We offer three lengths to ensure the clip covers the base seamlessly:
Size XS–S → short clip length with 4 snap fasteners
Size M–L → medium clip length with 4 snap fasteners
Size XL → long clip length with 5 snap fasteners
This ensures that the patterned leather strip decorates the collar seamlessly.

Which leather and pattern are used?

The clip is made of vegetable-tanned premium cowhide leather, which is embossed to create an exclusive “signature pattern.”

Does the long clip affect the comfort?

No. Despite its length, the clip is only a few millimeters thick and flexible enough to adapt to the shape of your dog's neck. Rounded edges and concealed buttons prevent chafing or breakage on long coats.

How do you properly care for the patterned clip?

Wipe away dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For extra care, we recommend applying a thin layer of colorless leather balm every few weeks. Please avoid aggressive cleaners and prolonged soaking in water.

What do you do if you change the pattern or need a replacement part?

PAWLII offers individual clips in alternating seasonal designs, as well as replacement button plackets. You can order a new clip at any time and swap it out in seconds thanks to the modular system – without any tools or expertise.
