How do you attach the clip to your PAWLII collar base?

The clip has four or five PAWLII snap fasteners on the back. Align the fasteners with the prepared eyelets on your collar and press them firmly in place one at a time. A quiet "click" signals that each fastener is securely locked into place – no tools required, no slipping.

What color and surface options are available?

You can choose between silky-matte pastel shades (e.g., rose, mint, sand) and shimmering metallics (e.g., platinum, rose gold, aurora). All colors are incorporated directly into the nappa leather, preserving its natural feel and ensuring the color remains vibrant even with daily use.

Will a single long clip fit any collar size?

No – for a seamless look we offer three lengths:
Size XS–S → short clip with 4 snap fasteners
Size M–L → medium clip with 4 snap fasteners
Size XL → long clip with 5 snap fasteners
The leather strip thus decorates the base over the entire length of the neck, without any overhang or gaps.

Is the soft nappa leather suitable for everyday use?

Absolutely. Our full-grain nappa leather is vegetable-tanned, then lightly waxed and sealed along the edges. This makes it resistant to scratches, splashes, and sunlight, while retaining the characteristic suppleness typical of nappa.

How do you properly clean and care for the clip?

Gently wipe away dust and dirt with a soft, slightly damp microfiber cloth. If necessary, apply a very thin layer of colorless leather balm every four to six weeks to nourish the pastel or metallic finish and maintain its natural shine. Avoid harsh cleaners and prolonged soaking.

Can I easily switch between long clips and single subject clips?

Yes. The modular PAWLII system allows you to remove the long clip in seconds and replace it with individual or themed clips. This allows you to create a new look in just a few steps – perfect if you want to switch between subtle pastel styles and sparkling metallic accents.
